Message from the CEO
Welcome to the Spring edition of the SunDoctors newsletter. It has been my great pleasure to meet with many of you during my first few weeks in the role and I look forward to getting to know you all in the coming weeks and months.
I’m encouraged to see new clinicians partnering with us – we have welcomed 5 new doctors over the past few weeks – and I expect to see our network continue to grow in the coming months.
We have also recently celebrated the opening of our new Toowoomba clinic, which sees doctors Lindesay Wagner and Sashi Crowther, previously at our Strathpine clinic, permanently relocating. The average age in Toowoomba is over 55 and we had more than 200 appointments booked before the led up to the clinic opening.
November is National Skin Cancer Action Week, bringing timely reminders of the importance of sun protection in the lead up to the summer months.
Our Summer of Cricket promotion begins later this month and runs through to February next year across Macquarie radio stations nationally, including all Ashes Test matches, one day internationals, T20s and the Big Bash League. SunDoctors will be mentioned more than 4,800 times to an audience of up to a million listeners, with an average age of 58, giving us opportunities to keep our skin care message front-of-mind with our target demographic.
