Dr Jamie Pearce

Dr Pearce is an experienced and passionate full time skin cancer physician.
He trained in the UK, moving to Australia in 2020 to further his interest in skin cancer medicine, and has recently joined our Byron Bay clinic.
He prides himself on providing meticulous and comprehensive skin checks, and a patient centred approach to treatment.
He's working towards Fellowship of The Skin Cancer College of Australia via the University of Queensland's Masters in Skin cancer medicine and research; having completed modules in advanced diagnostic skills.
He is also trained and experienced in more complex surgical procedures such as skin grafts and flaps, and "delayed repair after pathology examination".
He participates in ongoing regular audits, and stays abreast of the latest research, being a member of the Society For Melanoma Research and Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials.
He holds a post graduate diploma in Clinical Dermatology from the University of Queen Mary (London), and obtained Fellowship of the Australian Royal College of General Practitioners in 2020.

Dr Clinton Scott

Originally from South East Queensland, Clint completed a degree in Psychology before commencing medicine at the University of Queensland.

During his medical training, he fulfilled the John Flynn Placement Program, with a rural posting in Far North Queensland. He completed his internship and residency at the Cairns Hospital, with further postings in the Torres Strait and Atherton Tablelands. Thereafter he completed the Australian College for Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medicine Certificate at Logan Hospital.

Clint achieved fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016 whilst working in Cairns. He and his partner settled in the Northern Rivers in late 2016 and he has continued work as a General Practitioner.

Dr Scott has developed a special interest in skin cancer medicine and surgery, having completed further education with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, Healthcert Education and The Australian College of Cutaneous Oncology.

He enjoys managing a small hobby farm and playing the guitar.
