Dr Meiqing Han
MBBS, MMed(Skin Cancer), DCH, FRACGP
Dr. Han is a Chinese-born Australian, who finished his hospital training in Prince of Wales hospital in Sydney before developing a special interest in skin cancer medicine. He has been working full time in skin cancer medicine. He obtained a Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgery, and also graduated as a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) from University of Queensland.
Dr Stephen Lawson
MBBS, BEd, MMed(Skin Cancer), FRACGP, Cert PC Derm, DAME
Dr Steve Lawson is a specialist GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine and minor procedures. He grew up in PNG and Central Queensland, before studying Education at QUT and then Graduated from Medicine at the University of Queensland in 2001. He has a Masters of Medicine in Skin Cancer from UQ and a Certificate of Primary Care Dermatology from the RACGP. He worked as a military Doctor (Navy) for many years and has a high regard for DVA patients.
Dr Serne Kemp
MBBS, BBiomedSc, MMedRes (Cancer), FACRRM, Cert PC Skin Ca Med, Cert PC Dermoscopy.
Dr Serne Kemp is a specialist GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine. Born and raised on the Gold Coast Dr Kemp attended Griffith University completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Medical Research specialising in Cancer research. He then went on to study Medicine at Griffith University. Dr Kemp worked remotely in the Northern Territory for 6 years which included 2.5 years as the Director of Medical Services for a small remote hospital. Given the difficulty of patients accessing treatment in remote areas and the need for skin cancer services Dr Kemp developed an interest in skin cancer management during his time in the Northern Territory. Dr Kemp has recently moved back to Queensland to raise his young family. He is currently completing the Masters of Medicine in Skin Cancer at UQ. He has a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy.
