We will arrange where possible for your Medicare rebate to be claimed on the day. We will discuss your individualised procedure and related fees

Meet Your Doctors at Caboolture Clinic
Dr Meiqing Han
Dr. Han is a Chinese-born Australian, who finished his hospital training in Prince of Wales hospital in Sydney before developing a special interest in skin cancer medicine. He has been working full time in skin cancer medicine. He obtained a Certificate of Skin Cancer Surgery, and also graduated as a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) from University of Queensland.

Dr Stephen Lawson
Dr Stephen Lawson trained as a GP in QLD. He has practised in Australia for over 20 years and served as a Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. He has had a special interest in skin cancer detection and treatment as well as general dermatology since 2014. He continues to work in General Practice and Skin cancer is his sub specialist clinical focus. He is confident and experienced in non-surgical and surgical management of skin cancers including the use of flaps and grafts when appropriate.

Dr Mohamed Mahmoud
Dr Mahmoud is a general practitioner who initially started in general surgery in Egypt, where he practiced for many years in different hospitals. In 2002 he moved to Australia where he then commenced working as a general practitioner with special interest in skin cancer management in 2005.
Dr Mahmoud has many years of experience in skin cancer medicine and surgery. He has performed many different types of biopsies and has performed complex skin cancer surgeries including flaps and grafts.

Dr Melane Steenberg
Dr. Mel completed her MBChB degree in 1997 in South Africa. She worked in rural hospitals for 2 years in South Africa and spent 1 year in private practice. She and her husband immigrated to Canada in 2000. She completed her CCFP fellowship in Canada. She then worked as a GP for 14 years in Canada. Mel and her family emigrated to Australia in 2014 . In Australia, she has received her FRACGP in 2014 from The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
Dr. Mel has many years of experience in General Medical but decided to switch over to focus on Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. This has been her special interest and passion. She is certified as a Skin Cancer Doctor through Skin Cancer College Australasia. Dr. Mel performs complex skin cancer surgery, including Skin Grafts and Flaps to treat Skin Cancers. She also has experience and training in Aesthetic medicine to perform cosmetic mole removals, Photo Dynamic Therapy, injectables and Dermal Fillers.
In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, friends and dogs.
