Procedures such as skin cancer surgeries, performing skin flaps and grafts, incur an additional charge and is based on the complexity of the procedure and duration of the procedure. We will arrange where possible for your Medicare rebate to be claimed on the day. We will discuss your individualised procedure and related fees.

If a fee applies to you, you may be able to claim a rebate back through Medicare Online Claiming at the time your payment is taken.

Dr Barry Jackson
Dr Barry Jackson

Formerly an Advisor to the Minister for Health (Queensland) Barry graduated from the Griffith University Medical School in 2010. After completing hospital residency years in Brisbane, Mount Isa and Hervey Bay Dr Barry went on to complete General Practitioner (GP) training in Toowoomba.

Dr Barry has always had an interest in procedural medicine leading to his focus on skin cancer medicine where he routinely undertakes procedures including flaps and grafts, whilst also detailing non-surgical options when appropriate.

Dr Barry is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor (Skin Cancer College Australasia) and has attended multiple international meetings. He has settled on the Sunshine Coast with his family and enjoys engaging in the coastal lifestyle.

Dr Hamed Kordi

Dr Hamed Kordi has dedicated his practice to skin cancer care since 2018, gaining advanced certificates in skin cancer medicine and dermatology from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, where he holds Fellowship. He has worked in medical clinics on the NSW Central Coast and in the north suburbs of Brisbane.

Dr Kordi is passionate about improving patient knowledge about skin cancer, striving for earliest detection and treatment, as the skin is the largest organ of the body and ought to be well cared for. He enjoys performing minor surgeries, plus complex grafts, and flaps.

Dr Yi-ping Partridge

Dr Ping Partridge initially graduated from Shanghai First Medical University, China, where she had basic training including surgical practice. Then worked in Papua New Guinea as a General Practitioner for 10 years, then requalified and re-registered in early 2000 in Australia.
In this same year she became both a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the college of Rural and Remote Medicine.
She set up a private country practice in Queensland and became the sole GP for a period of seven years. It was from here she began to develop a special interest in Skin Cancer. Travelling around Australia and overseas, she attended numerous conferences and courses which led to a vast knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers.
She was working in skin cancer clinics on the Gold Coast before relocating to the Sunshine Coast to become founding doctor of “Kalowen Skin Cancer Clinic”
Dr Ping was formally a senior lecturer at Queensland University and a board member of a GP Training Consultancy (CSQTC).
She is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor (SCCA) and has become a skilled skin cancer doctor.
She provides caring and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for all her patients as required.

Dr Renuka Sharon Ranasinghe

Dr Renuka qualified as a doctor in in the UK in 1990 and commenced skin cancer work part in Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge, UK. She has been continuing her passion in diagnosing and treating skin cancers since coming to Western Australia in 2010. She is able to perform skin biopsies, elliptical excisions, skin flaps and skin grafts.

Her other passion is animal welfare. She has 3 adopted rescued dogs and also fosters puppies for a dog refuge. She enjoys ocean swimming and completed the Rottnest Channel Swim Solo in 6 hours and 30 minutes in 2021.
