Dr Shamim Farooq has a special interest in skin cancer medicine. He concentrates on the careful examination and diagnosis of lesions and skin cancer surgery.
He has completed a Professional Certificate and Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine.
In addition to English, he also speaks Bengali and Hindi.
Dr Marjia Johns graduated from Western Sydney University in 2015 as a Dean's Merit List Recipient. She worked at Concord Hospital and Broken Hill Base Hospital in internship and residency, developing both experience and honing her interests in skin cancer medicine as a dermatology senior resident at CRGH in 2018. Dr Johns is passionate about ongoing medical education, and since gaining her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022, has continued with further training in skin cancer medicine. Dr Marjia Johns is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. This means that she has successfully completed a high level of training with the College and has proven skills in the diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer.
