Dr Shadfar Shahshahani MD FRACGP

Dr Shadfar Shahshahani graduated in 1996 with a Medicine Doctorate Degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in Iran. In his 13 years whilst working in Iran, Dr Shadfar also lectured in the Iran Azad University, Shahr-e-Ray (IAUSR), Teaching Medicine to university students in Iran. Having migrated to Australia in 2009, Dr Shadfar accomplished his specialist registration with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr Shadfar is a sub-specialist in Skin Cancer diagnosis & treatment, including all types of biopsy and skin surgery. He also works with chronic and acute joint disease including joints aspiration and cortisone injection; as well as the management of Hypertension and other Blood Pressure related diseases. Dr Shadfar has a special interest in Adolescent Health, Asthma, Diabetes & Family Health. He has a wife and two
children and speaks fluent Persian

Dr Jason LamDr Lam

Jason was originally a professional dancer and artist before coming over to medicine. Initially trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery, he made the switch to General Practice and is thoroughly enjoying it. He has particular interests in sports medicine, hand injury, dermatology, skin cancer medicine and surgical procedures and is skilled at minimally scarring surgery. He is the Crighton Dance Medicine Fellow with the Australian Ballet and is involved in numerous research projects and has published and presented on the foot and ankle, dance medicine with the Australian College of Sports and Exercise Physicians, point of care ultrasound with the Royal Australian College of General Practice, hand surgery and is also a medical educator with Eastern Victoria GP training. In his spare time he rides mountain bikes, takes photos, makes pretentious short films and has an Etsy store selling high end custom dinosaur jewellery.
