Photo Dynamic Therapy – Now available at Windsor SunDoctors
PDT has been used to treat predominately Non-melanoma skin cancers and pre-malignant lesions as opposed to surgical excision or other non-invasive modalities of therapy.
It is an option considered by some patients, because scarring and a good aesthetic or cosmetic result following any treatment is as important as treating the skin cancer or pre-malignant lesion. This can be achieved by the use of PDT light devices.
New devices have improved significantly providing a wider range/frequency of wavelengths of light that can now be used to target various skin conditions, skin cancers and pre-malignant lesions as well as the more popular use in aesthetic/cosmetic clinics for rejuvenation purposes of sun damaged skin.
Please note:
Same Day Cancellation Policy applies.
Same day cancellations and non-attendance may incur a fee. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact our office as early as possible so that the appointment can be offered to our waiting list.
