SunDoctors in the Spotlight
We all need to play a part in continuing to keep the SunDoctors brand in the ‘spotlight’.
From a marketing perspective, it’s particularly important throughout the winter months for SunDoctors to continue to have share of voice out in the market. To that end, we have undertaken three main strategies to elevate SunDoctors’ brand presence and ensure we continue to be front of mind throughout the colder months, when Australians’ sun smart awareness may be lower.
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): We have placed a higher emphasis around our organic presence to increase visibility across Google search and place SunDoctors in a better position throughout winter. This will ensure the website is at the forefront of people looking for skin cancer checks during this period. We want to make it as easy as possible for patients to find us, contact us and make a booking.
- Facebook Targeting: Facebook’s largest growth has come from Australians aged 55 years and over. We are actively targeting people aged 55 and over within close proximity to our clinics. The strategy behind our Facebook targeting is complex in nature – but effective in driving awareness, visibility and appointments in the over 55 market. This will hopefully allow us to reach larger volumes of people more often through this medium.Following is the link to our latest video.
Former AFLGrand Final winning Captain for the Geelong Cats, Cameron Ling, talks about the importance of getting a skin check in winter. Be sure to share this video through your own personal social media networks so we are able to generate greater awareness and visibility of the SunDoctors brand.
- Radio Advertising: We have developed a radio advertisement featuring leading radio personality Alan Jones, promoting SunDoctors. The ad is aired across all eastern states on weekday mornings and afternoons, and has consistently driven a great response from listeners.
In fact, a listener recently called Alan Jones on his 2GB radio program to thank him for saving his life. The caller had heard the SunDoctors ad, made an appointment at one of our clinics and subsequently had a skin cancer removed from his face. He was extremely complimentary of SunDoctors and the doctor involved in his diagnosis.It’s important that we continue to build our brand in the marketplace and be found easily, so we are best able to promote the great service we provide to our communities.
